Thursday Night Prayer January 26 2023 : Night prayer is a time to slow down and take a moment to be thankful for the day that has passed and to ask for guidance for the day to come. It is a time to rest in the Lord and be grateful for all the blessings of the day. It is also a time to reflect on the things that have gone wrong and ask for forgiveness and guidance in the future. Night prayer can be done in many different ways, depending on the individual.
Many people choose to pray silently in the comfort of their own home before going to bed. Others prefer to pray aloud, either as part of a group or in private. Some people also choose to write out their prayers, either in a journal or on a piece of paper.
No matter how it is done, night prayer is a time to reflect on the day and to ask for help and guidance in the days to come. It is a time to give thanks for all that has been given and to ask for guidance in the times ahead. Night prayer is a time to give thanks and to ask for protection, guidance, and peace in the days to come.
Thursday Night Prayer January 26 2023
We come before You tonight with humble hearts, seeking Your wisdom and guidance. As we reflect on this day, we thank You for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us. We ask that You continue to give us strength and courage to face each day with resilience and positivity.
We pray for those who are struggling in our communities, for those who are facing difficulties, and for those who are in need of Your grace. Give us the courage to reach out to those in need and provide them with the love and support they need.
As we enter a new day, we ask for Your protection. Keep us safe from harm and from the temptations of this world. Guide our steps and help us to make wise decisions.
Grant us peace of mind, so that we may rest confidently in Your presence. Renew our spirits and fill us with joy as we go into the weekend.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Bible reading for Thursday Night January 26 2023
1 I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
