Prayer for peaceful free and fair election in Nigeria
Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to ask for your divine intervention in the upcoming election in Nigeria. We ask that you would grant the people of Nigeria peace and safety as they go to the polls.
We pray that you would protect the citizens from any kind of violence or intimidation. We ask that you would give them the courage to stand up for their rights and to cast their votes without fear.
We pray that you would give the election officials the wisdom and integrity to ensure that the election is free and fair. We ask that you would protect the election process from any kind of corruption or manipulation.
We pray that you would give the candidates the grace to accept the results of the election, regardless of the outcome. We ask that you would give them the strength to put the interests of the nation above their own.
We pray that you would give the people of Nigeria the strength to come together and work for the common good. We ask that you would bring unity and understanding among the different political parties and factions.
We pray that you would give the people of Nigeria the courage to speak out against injustice and to stand up for what is right. We ask that you would give them the strength to be a voice for the voiceless.
We thank you for your love and mercy towards the people of Nigeria. We ask that you would continue to bless the nation and its people.
