They are born to John Osteen and Dolores Osteen who are founders of the popular Lakewood church.

Pastor Paul graduated with a bachelor degree from Oral Roberts university [ORU] in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated from medical school in 1982.
CAREER/MINISTRY
Paul Kent Osteen is an American vascular surgeon and medical missionary. He practices as a volunteer surgeon in the remote place of the sub-Saharan African and also as an advocate for humanitarian actions by US physicians to desperate areas specifically in Africa.
He is an associate pastor in lake wood church. Soon after finishing his surgical residency in Arkansas, Osteen joined a private practice in little rock. He practiced for twenty years and after that transferred back to his home in Houston to take over from his brother as pastor of Lakewood church.
After a medical mission trip in 2005, he was moved to use his surgical skills to help people who lack medical care. He also partners alongside Christian aid-organizations like Samaritan’s purse and world vision, Osteen travels to the rural areas of Kenya, and Zambia to provide surgical care, train new doctors for isolated communities.
Pastor Paul Osteen also founded a medical conference for missionary work in 2016, called the M3 conference. It is created to connect medical missionary workers to relieve poverty in least developed countries.
