You have to come to the point where you say, “Enough is enough. I’m breaking free from this bondage, from this dysfunction.” It’s a day of freedom. A day of breakthrough. Take the pressure off.
God has people He’s already lined up for you who will celebrate you, approve you, love you, think you’re awesome. But until you let the wrong people go, you’ll never meet the right people.
Don’t take on that false sense of responsibility, thinking you have to please everyone, keep them encouraged, make sure they’re happy. You’re not their savior. We already have a Savior. All that’s going to do is wear you out.
