Natalie Diane Grant famously known as Natalie Grant was born on 21st December 1971 to her parents in Seattle, Washington. She has three lovely daughters for her amazing husband Bernie Herms. Together with her family, she lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Natalie in eventually ventured into music and released three albums between 1999 and 2003, although the majority of her hits came later in her career.

Natalie has a great love and passion for music, she started her teaching in Northwest University previously known as Northwest College in Kirkland, Washington. She thought that until she understood how to find God’s true calling for her life, her musical talents should only be shared with her local church. Therefore, she changed her career and began singing Christian music as a result.
When Grant tried out for the touring music group “Truth”, she started with modern Christian music. In order to further her solo career, she later relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. There, in 1997, she secured a record deal with Benson Records and started writing her self-titled debut, which was eventually published in 1999.
After leaving Benson, she signed with Pamplin Music and released the album Stronger in 2001. Upon the closure of Pamplin Records, she joined Curb Records, where she has made five solo albums till date, starting with Deeper Life in 2003. Her breakthrough success came in 2005 with the release of Awaken. It was RIAA certified gold. Love Revolution followed the release of her hit debut on August 24, 2010 as well as “Hurricane”, which came on October 15, 2013.
In 2008, she went on the Speaking Louder Than Before tour with Jeremy Camp and Bebo Norman. Her contribution to Crystal Aikin’s self-titled debut album is the song “Breathe On Me.” She participated in the Women of Faith conference for teen girls’ Revolve Tour as a speaker and performer.
Grant embarked on her first tour with “MercyMe” in April 2011. The Billboard magazine named “MercyMe” Artist of the Decade. Additionally, she starred in the television movie, Decision, for the Gospel Music Channel (GMC) in October 2011.
They announced on September 27, 2013, that Grant would host the GSN-exclusive game show It Takes a Church, which debuted on June 5, 2014.
On September 25, 2020, she issued her tenth studio album, No Stranger. Natalie Grant released the main song, “My Weapon,” on February 21, 2020, before her 10th studio album.
NATALIE GRANT’S PHILANTHROPY WORKS
Natalie works on anti-human trafficking campaigns. She started looking into the issue after watching an episode of Law & Order that dealt with it. Her research inspired her and her husband to visit India in order to observe the red-light districts and the efforts being made to eradicate them. That encounter changed the course of Natalie’s life and also the way she approaches her music.
Grant founded “The Home Foundation in 2005”, now known as Abolition International. Through campaigning, education, aftercare accreditation, and the provision of recovery houses for victims, Grant Intends to stop sex trafficking.
The Sisters of Divine Providence honoured Grant on October 23, 2012, with the Bishop Ketteler Award for Social Justice in recognition of her efforts to combat human trafficking.
