May You Not Be Ridiculed on Your Day of Joy

May You Not Be Ridiculed on Your Day of Joy

    Introduction

Compassionate and Faithful Father, You are the God who turns mourning into dancing and replaces shame with honor. You delight in crowning Your children with joy and celebrating them openly. Your Word assures us that those who trust in You will never be put to shame. Today, we come before You with faith, asking that on our day of joy, celebration, and testimony, ridicule, mockery, and disgrace will have no place in our lives.

Prayer: Protection from Ridicule on the Day of Joy

    Heavenly Father,
We thank You because You are the lifter of our heads and the defender of our dignity. You see the tears, the waiting, and the silent battles that preceded our joy. As You bring us into seasons of celebration, we ask for Your covering and honor.
Lord, Your Word declares, “Those who trust in the Lord shall not be ashamed” (Psalm 25:3). By this promise, we reject every spirit of mockery, ridicule, and public shame assigned to our testimonies.
As You silenced Peninnah and turned Hannah’s reproach into laughter and honor (1 Samuel 1:6–20), silence every voice raised to mock our joy. Let our testimonies speak louder than every word of scorn.
Father, just as You preserved Isaac’s celebration and laughter as a sign of fulfilled promise (Genesis 21:6), let our joy be complete and uncontested. Where the enemy planned embarrassment, let celebration break forth instead.
Your Word says, “You will be clothed with garments of salvation and robes of righteousness” (Isaiah 61:10). Therefore, we receive divine covering, honor, and favor. Let our joy be pure, public, and protected by Your hand.
Holy Spirit, surround our blessings with peace. Guard our hearts from fear and our lives from disgrace. Let our joy glorify God and silence every opposing voice.

We declare that our testimonies will silence mockers.

We declare lasting joy, peace, and public victory.
