Max Lucado Sermons – Now Is The Time For Faith

Max Lucado Sermons Now Is The Time For Faith : There is a lot of reason for us to be afraid  and anxious times are so scary now and it seems like there is no hope, Max Lucado is asking us to respond to this trying times with faith, we have to pray about our fears and concerns, it sis a time for us to let our god hear our voices .

2nd chronicles 20 says, “It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle”. Just like it happened to Jehoshaphat, it seemed like the was going to be over powered in the battle as everyone was against him and he was hopeless, he was afraid but he set himself to seek the the lord. being afraid is not unusual, its not wrong, its proof that we are humans however how we respond to fear proves the kind of humans we are, if we are believers or unbelievers. when trouble, shame ,anxiety  and worries comes knocking, we are expected to answer the door with faith and automatically fear disappears.

2nd chronicles 20:13 says, “And all Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and their children”. the whole nation, not just its priests, and religious leaders, everyone of them turned to the lord in prayers. we are all called upon today to stand before the lord in prayers and not give in to fear. Even though everyone around us gives in to fear, we must not, we should instead grow stronger in faith.

2nd chronicles 20: 17 “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you”. we must keep in mind that the battle is not ours but of the lord our call is to stand before him. the way to go into battle  we must go with prayer and worship. knowing fully well that our Lord is with us.
