If we aren’t living the way God has instructed us to live, we will be miserable until we confess our sins. Once we thoroughly get everything out in the open before the Lord, He gives us the power to be set free from our sins: BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered (Psalm 32:1 AMPC).

The Word says that God desires truth in our inner being (See Psalm 51:6). So, we need to be honest with ourselves and with God, if we want to enjoy the blessing of God’s forgiveness. Ask God to show you what needs to be changed in your life and trust His forgiving power to continually bring about those changes in you.

Prayer of the Day: Lord, thank You for forgiving me and for the freedom I enjoy because of that forgiveness. Help me walk in Your truth and enjoy every day of my life, amen.

    Today’s Word:

The way to honor God is not by being down on yourself, living guilty, unworthy. It’s by receiving His mercy. The price has already been paid. All your sins—past, present, and future—have been taken care of.

God already has it figured out. He knows the end from the beginning. But here’s the key: He doesn’t give us the details. If you knew how everything was going to work out, it wouldn’t take faith.

When you go through a disappointment, you could be upset and bitter, but when you overflow with hope, you know that what was meant for harm God is turning to your advantage. Weeping may endure for a night, but you know joy is coming.

There are negative things that have been passed down that now you have to deal with. You didn’t choose it, and you can’t overcome it. That’s when our God steps in with abundance, freedom, victory.

No matter how nice of a person you are, you’re going to encounter people who are hard to get along with. How you handle difficult people will determine how high you will go. The Scripture says, “You overcome evil with good.”
