Joel Osteen Sermon : Tell Yourself a New Story

Joel Osteen Sermon Tell Yourself a New Story : The lead pastor of Lakewood Church and the founder of Joel Osteen Ministries, Pastor Joel Osteen has come through with this amazing sermon titled ”Tell Yourself a new story”. This is an inspiring, encouraging and motivational message that will lift your soul and strengthen you.

We all need new stories in our lives. To understand what to do and how to tell yourseld a new story, this Joel Osteen sermon ”tell yourself a  new story” is highly recommended.

Preaching on this sermon, Pastor Joel Osteen said, God is the author of your story. If you’ll get in agreement with Him, He will take you further than you could go on your own.

You weren’t created to live in a proving mode, trying to impress others. That’s time and energy that you need for your dreams, your goals. Instead of impressing people, we should spend our time impressing God.

God uses difficulties to get us to our destiny. If you’re not willing to be uncomfortable and keep a good attitude when things don’t work out, it will keep you from rising higher.

You’re not supposed to live hoping you can do good enough, maybe you can earn His blessings. You don’t have to earn it. When God breathed life into you, He put His blessing on you.
You’re looking at it in the natural, but God is supernatural. Don’t cancel out the blessing, the favor, the abundance by speaking defeat. He’s going to do what He hears you saying.
Since God stooped down for you, why don’t you stoop down for someone else? You’re never more like God than when you’re helping the hurting, restoring the broken, lifting the fallen.
You don’t have to prove to God that you’re worthy, He’s already made you worthy. You don’t have to prove that you deserve His goodness, He knew every mistake you would ever make, every fault, every weakness, and He’s already accepted and approved you.
Are your words helping you, or are your words hindering you? Pay attention to what you’re saying. Don’t let negative words keep you wandering in the desert.
If you’ll be grateful where you are, then God can get you to where you want to be. Cultivate a lifestyle of being thankful, remembering what God has done and how blessed you are.
When you keep speaking faith, speaking victory, speaking health, speaking abundance, negative thoughts can’t stay. Your words will override what you’re thinking.
God wasn’t having an off day when He created you. He calls you a masterpiece. He put His DNA in you. You have royal blood flowing through your veins. Don’t let tongue trouble keep you from becoming who you were created to be.
The Scripture says, “The tongue can nourish and the tongue call kill.” Don’t let the tongue kill your dreams, your personality, your self-esteem, your value. Let it nourish your life.
One of the best ways to change negative thinking is to start talking positively. When every thought is telling you, “It’s too big, you don’t have a chance, it’s been too long.” Your report should be, “I am well able. I will defeat this giant. I will accomplish my dreams.”
You’ve been made in the image of God. When you criticize yourself, you are criticizing God’s creation. You’re saying, “God, You didn’t do too good on me.” No, God wasn’t having an off day when He created you. He calls you a masterpiece.
