Joel Osteen Daily Devotional September 16 2023.

SCRIPTURE: Jeremiah 1:12, NIV The LORD said to me, “You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.” 

In the Scripture, Joseph spent thirteen years in slavery and was imprisoned for something he didn’t do. One morning the guard came in and said, “Pharaoh wants to see you.” I imagine Joseph thought, “That’s impossible! I’m a slave, a foreigner, a prisoner.” Joseph was brought into the presence of the most powerful ruler of his day, interpreted Pharaoh’s dream, and was made the prime minister of Egypt right on the spot. God fulfilled His promise to Joseph that he would rule one day. He woke up that morning a prisoner; he went to bed that night promoted and vindicated.

God is working out His plan for your life. There are things that take time, and it looks like what you’re up against is never going to change. But when you step into your destiny moment, God will do things speedily, quicker than you thought. He’ll cause you to accomplish your dream in a fraction of the time. The One who controls the universe is watching over you to fulfill His promises to you.

“Father, thank You that You are watching to see that Your word and purpose for my life is fulfilled. Thank You that You have an answer for every obstacle I am facing. I believe that the answer is on the way and will arrive sooner than expected. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
