Luke 18:1, TLB
One day Jesus told his disciples a story to illustrate their need for constant prayer and to show them that they must keep praying until the answer comes.
From the time you ask God for help with a need in your life until the time it comes to pass is called “the trial of your faith.” That’s when it’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what you’re believing for.
When it’s taking longer than you thought, it’s easy to talk yourself out of it and think, “I tried. I did my best. It’s just not meant to be.” No, keep praying, keep believing.
It may not have happened yet, but what God promised you, He’s still going to bring to pass. God is working behind the scenes in answer to your prayers and is about to break stubborn things.
God is about to break down those strongholds that have held you back and look permanent. Suddenly, things are going to turn around. Suddenly, you’re going to be free from that addiction.
Suddenly, that depression is going to be broken. Suddenly, your business is going to take off. Keep praying. Keep praising. Keep believing.
Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for the great promises and the desires You have put on my heart that I can bring to You and ask You for.
Thank You for the clear word to keep praying until the answer comes. I believe that my times are in Your hands, and You will answer in Your perfect timing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
