INTRODUCTION
April is gone.
Whatever it brought — hold it loosely. The wins. The losses. The tears. The unanswered prayers. The unexpected blessings. All of it is behind you now.
May 2026 is here.
And it did not come empty.
A new month is God’s way of saying — your story is not over. It is a fresh page. A clean slate. Another chance for something to shift in your favor.
But here is something many people miss.
A new month does not automatically bring a new experience. You can walk into May still carrying everything from April. The same fears. The same doubts. The same heaviness.
That is why you need to pray first.
Before the plans. Before the goals. Before the hustle — place this month in the hands of God.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says it clearly. “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning.”
If His mercies are new every morning — imagine what He has loaded into an entirely new month.
May 2026 is yours. But first — pray over it.
PowerFul Prayer For The New Month
Father of all creation,
We come to You at the start of this new month.
We will not rush past this moment. We will not dive into May without first stopping to honor You. You are the One who controls time. You hold every month, every week, every day in Your hands. And we are grateful to be alive to see this one.
Thank You for April.
Thank You for every morning we woke up. For every danger we did not see. For every prayer You answered — and for the ones You held back in wisdom we did not yet understand. We are still here. Still breathing. And that alone is enough reason to praise You.
Now Father — we welcome May 2026.
We welcome it with faith. With expectation. And with boldness.
We declare that this month will not be ordinary. It will not be a repeat of stagnation. It will not pass over our lives
without leaving a mark of Your goodness.
Jeremiah 29:11 says — “I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.”
Lord, let every good plan You have written for us in May find us this month. Let none of it miss us.
We pray for acceleration in May.
Everything that has moved slowly — speed it up this month. Every opportunity that has been delayed — let it arrive now. Every door that has stayed shut — let the right key show up in May.
Isaiah 60:22 says — “In its time, I will do this swiftly.”
Lord, let May be that time for us.
We pray for provision.
Let there be no lack this month. Let every financial need be met. Let income increase. Let new doors of opportunity open. Let the work of our hands prosper.
Philippians 4:19 promises — “My God will meet all your needs according to His riches in glory.”
We stand on that promise for every single day of May.
We pray for good health.
Let no sickness locate us this month. Let no disease find a place in our bodies. Let every organ function the way You designed it. Let strength and energy be our portion every morning we wake up in May.
We pray for favor.
Supernatural favor. Unexplainable favor. The kind that makes people go out of their way to help without knowing why.
Let our names be mentioned in rooms we have never entered. Let promotion come from unexpected places. Let May carry a level of favor we have never experienced before.
Psalm 5:12 says — “You surround the righteous with favor as with a shield.”
Let that shield be visible over our lives all through this month.
We pray for protection.
Thirty-one days — cover every single one of them. Cover our mornings and our nights. Cover our roads and our homes. Cover our children and our families.
Let no evil locate us in May. Let no tragedy visit anyone connected to us. Let every day of this month end with everyone safe, whole, and at peace.
We pray for wisdom.
For the decisions May will bring — give us clear minds. For the opportunities that will show up — give us the discernment to know which ones are from You. For the relationships that need attention — give us the right words at the right time.
James 1:5 says — “If any of you lacks wisdom, ask God, who gives generously to all.”
Lord, we are asking. Give us wisdom for every situation this month brings.
And for everyone entering May with a heavy heart
For the one whose prayer has been on their lips for months. For the one whose dream has not yet come to life. For the one who is tired but still holding on.
Father, let May be the turning point.
Let this be the month something shifts. Let this be the month the answer finally comes. Let this be the month their testimony arrives.
We declare it boldly
May 2026 is our month of harvest.
Our month of favor.
Our month of answered prayers.
Our month of new beginnings.
Every day of this month is blessed.
Every door we knock on shall open.
Every seed we have sown shall yield a harvest.
In the name of Jesus Christ — May 2026 is ours!

May 2026 has thirty-one days.
