Intercessory prayer is a divine calling that shapes destinies, restores nations, and aligns the earth with God’s will. Throughout the Bible, God raised men and women who stood in the gap through prayer, fasting, and spiritual authority. This powerful prayer, May the Mantle of Intercession Rest Upon Us, is written to awaken believers, prayer warriors, and watchmen to their calling. As you pray, may God release fresh fire, burden, and grace for effective intercession.

Heavenly Father,

We come boldly before Your throne of grace, acknowledging that intercessory prayer is a sacred assignment. We ask that the mantle of intercession rest upon us—upon our lives, families, churches, and nations.

As You stirred Abraham to intercede for Sodom (Genesis 18:23–33), awaken our hearts to carry divine burdens in prayer. Teach us to pray beyond personal needs and to stand in the gap for souls, cities, and generations.

Lord, strengthen us like Moses on the mountain, whose lifted hands determined victory in the valley (Exodus 17:8–13). Empower us to remain steadfast in prayer, even when the battle is intense and the wait is long.

Just as Esther fasted and interceded for the deliverance of her people (Esther 4:16), release upon us courage, boldness, and sacrificial love. Let our intercession unlock divine intervention and supernatural turnaround.

Holy Spirit, ignite our prayer altar with fresh fire. Activate spiritual sensitivity, prophetic insight, and perseverance. Let our prayers be effective, fervent, and aligned with heaven, according to James 5:16.

Your Word declares that You seek intercessors to stand in the gap (Ezekiel 22:30). Here we are, Lord—anoint us as watchmen who will not keep silent day or night (Isaiah 62:6–7).

We declare the release of the mantle of intercession upon our lives.

We declare that our prayers will move heaven and shift the earth.

We declare spiritual alertness, discipline, and consistency in prayer.

We declare revival, restoration, and salvation through intercessory prayer.

We declare that nations, families, and destinies are transformed by prayer.

Father, we thank You for releasing the grace and mantle of intercession upon us. Let our lives become prayer altars, burning continually before You. May our intercession establish Your will, usher revival, and bring glory to Your name. We commit ourselves to a life of prayer, obedience, and spiritual authority.

We receive this mantle by faith, in the name of Jesus Christ.
