Heavenly Father, We come before You tonight with hearts full of gratitude for the day You have graciously granted us. We thank You for Your presence, guidance, and faithfulness that have accompanied us throughout this day. As we prepare to lie down and sleep, we humbly ask for Your peace to encompass us, O Lord.
Father, we release any worries, anxieties, and burdens that may weigh heavy on our hearts. We trust in Your sovereignty and surrender all our concerns into Your loving hands. We find comfort in the assurance that You alone will keep us safe throughout the night.
We thank You, Father, for the angels You have assigned to protect us. We acknowledge Your faithfulness in sending Your heavenly messengers to watch over us wherever we go. We ask that You continue to order Your angels to stand guard around our homes, our loved ones, and us as we rest tonight.
Lord, as we close our eyes and enter into a state of peaceful slumber, we ask for Your presence to be tangible. May Your Holy Spirit bring calm to our minds, comfort to our souls, and rejuvenation to our bodies. Grant us restful sleep that restores and refreshes us for the new day that lies ahead.
