    Everlasting King of Glory,

    As the day draws to a close on this Tuesday, June 27, 2023, we come before Your presence with hearts filled with gratitude and reverence. We thank You for the gift of this day, for the opportunities, blessings, and challenges it has brought. As we prepare to rest our weary bodies, we seek Your peace and guidance to guard our hearts and minds throughout the night.

    Lord, we acknowledge that You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and we find solace in Your ever-watchful presence. We surrender all our worries, anxieties, and burdens to You, knowing that You are the One who sustains us. As we lay our heads on our pillows, we ask for Your divine protection over our minds, bodies, and spirits. Shield us from any harm or evil that may seek to disrupt our rest.

    Gracious God, in this moment of reflection, we recognize our imperfections and shortcomings. We humbly ask for Your forgiveness for any thoughts, words, or actions that fell short of Your perfect standards. Wash us clean with the precious blood of Jesus, and grant us the strength and courage to walk in righteousness and obedience.

    Father, we lift up those who are in need tonight. Comfort the hearts of the grieving, heal the bodies of the sick, and bring peace to the troubled souls.
