Night Prayer for today Sunday March 19 2023
Dear God,
As I close my eyes tonight, I am filled with gratitude for the blessings you have bestowed upon me. I thank you for the gift of life and for the opportunity to experience another day on this earth. I thank you for the love and support of my family and friends, for the roof over my head, the food on my table, and the clothes on my back. I thank you for all the little things that often go unnoticed but make life so much more comfortable.
As I prepare to rest, I ask that you watch over me and keep me safe throughout the night. Protect me from harm, both physical and spiritual. Shield me from negative thoughts, fears, and anxieties that may disturb my peace of mind. Help me to let go of any worries and concerns that may be weighing heavily on my heart. Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Lord, I pray for the healing of my body, mind, and soul. If there are any physical or emotional pains, please ease them and grant me relief. If there are any wounds or hurts, please soothe them and bring healing. If there are any doubts or fears, please replace them with faith and confidence. May I wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed, renewed, and ready to face the challenges of a new day.
I pray for the people I love, both near and far. I ask that you bless them with your grace and mercy, and that you watch over them throughout the night. May they find rest and comfort in your loving embrace, and may they wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and renewed. I pray for those who are sick, lonely, or struggling in any way. Please be with them and grant them strength, hope, and healing.
I pray for the world we live in. There are so many challenges, conflicts, and problems that need to be addressed. Please give our leaders the wisdom and courage to make just and compassionate decisions. Help us to be more understanding, kind, and compassionate towards one another, and to work together towards a better future for all.
Lord, as I rest tonight, I entrust my life and all that I hold dear to your loving care. I place my trust in you and know that you will never leave me nor forsake me. Help me to feel your presence and to know that you are with me always, guiding me, protecting me, and loving me unconditionally.
I close this prayer with gratitude for all that you have done for me, for all that you are doing, and for all that you will continue to do. I give you thanks and praise for your love and mercy, for your grace and compassion, and for your unfailing presence in my life. May your name be glorified now and forevermore.
