Night Prayer for today March 22 2023 : Welcome to Wednesday Powerful Night Prayer. As we come before God tonight, let us remember the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 63:1, “O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” Let us thirst for God’s presence and seek Him with all our hearts as we pray.
Bible Verse: “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” – James 4:8a (ESV)
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you on this Wednesday night with grateful hearts for all the blessings that you have bestowed upon us. We thank you for the gift of life, for our families and friends, for our jobs, and for everything that you have provided for us.
Lord, as we approach your throne of grace tonight, we ask that you draw near to us and fill us with your Holy Spirit. We pray that you open our hearts and minds to hear your voice and to receive your guidance and wisdom.
Father, we bring before you our needs and concerns. We ask that you heal the sick, comfort the grieving, and provide for the needy. We pray for our families and loved ones, that you protect them and keep them safe.
Lord, we also ask for your forgiveness for our sins and shortcomings. We confess our failures and shortcomings before you, and we ask for your mercy and grace to help us overcome them.
Father, we pray that you strengthen our faith and give us the courage to stand firm in your truth. We ask that you help us to love and serve others as you have loved and served us.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
