“Good News” with Nick Vujicic challenges us all to evaluate our priorities at Christmas. There is no circumstance, no problem, nor any disability or heart break, depression, addiction, affliction, oppression, that God’s power cannot break.
The Good News of Christmas is that the promised Messiah came as a baby to be the mediator between us and God. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart.
Lean not upon your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways, and He will direct your paths.”
Preaching on this sermon, Nick further said :
Get the Christmas tree up. Get presents. I always wait for new socks. No, I am just joking. I actually grew up in a home that never had a Christmas tree until I was a teenager because my parents always told us that getting a gift on Christmas Day or having this Christmas tree had nothing to do with the real Christmas reason as to why we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. Every single human being goes throughout their life with probably one common thought that we all have.
What happens to us when we die? The two most two significant days are the day that you were born and the day that you knew why. If I just had arms and legs. “Well, if only this and this and this were different, then I would be happy.
” What I am going to tell you today is there is a big, big difference between circumstantial happiness, and the truth that sets the soul free from the real disabilities.
Am I saved on Judgment Day? For your friends who may not believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior…. There is not one person I have refused to hug. Jesus is always with you. Give me faith as I search for you. Many who go to church are going to hell.
