Morning Prayer For Today Thursday May 11 2023
Heavenly Father, We thank You for the gift of another day, for the opportunity to wake up to a new beginning. As we gather in Your presence, we acknowledge Your sovereignty over our lives and the world. May Your light shine upon us, illuminating our path and guiding our steps throughout this day.
We offer our praises and adoration for Your unchanging love and faithfulness. You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. Today, we surrender our plans and desires to You, trusting that Your purpose will prevail in our lives.
Lord, as we embark on this day, we ask for Your wisdom to make wise choices and decisions. Grant us discernment to navigate through any challenges or uncertainties that may come our way. Fill our hearts with compassion, kindness, and forgiveness towards others, that we may reflect Your character in all that we do.
We pray for strength, both physical and emotional, to face any obstacles that may arise. In times of weariness, remind us of Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, that those who hope in You will renew their strength. Help us to lean on You and find rest in Your presence, knowing that You are our refuge and strength.
Lord, we also lift up those who are facing difficulties today. May You be their comfort and source of hope.
