Morning Prayer for today Monday February 6 2023 : It a new day. Glory to God Almighty who has made it possible for us to see this brand new day.
We all go through waiting processes that can be very difficult, but God made it clear that if we’re going to bring forth the promises in our lives, we have to develop patience that waits with expectation.
God who has given us the opportunity to see this new day has plans for us all. Let us thank him for the gift of life and also pray to him for the manifestation of his plans in our lives.
Powerful Morning Prayer for today Monday February 6 2023
We thank You for this day and the opportunity to start fresh and anew. We come before You today with our hearts open, and ask that You guide us in all that we do. You are our source of strength and we know that You will always be with us.
Help us to remember throughout this day that You are our refuge and our shelter. Give us wisdom to make the right choices and discernment to recognize Your will in our lives.
Fill us with Your peace, hope and joy. As we face the challenges of this day, help us to remain focused on You and the promises of Your Word. Remind us that it is in You that we find rest, and that no matter what comes our way, You are our strength and our shield.
Help us to keep our thoughts on what is pure and true, and to reject anything that might be contrary to Your Word. Fill us with Your presence as we go about our day, and guide us as we make decisions.
We thank You for Your love and mercy that is extended to us each day. We praise You for Your faithfulness and Your goodness.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
Today’s Bible Reading
1 “You must not make idols for yourselves or set up an image or a sacred pillar for yourselves, and you must not place a carved stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God.
2 You must observe my Sabbaths and reverence my sanctuary: I am the Lord.
3 “If you follow my statutes and faithfully observe my commands,
4 I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees of the field their fruit.
5 Your threshing will continue until grape harvest, and the grape harvest will continue until sowing time; you will have plenty of food to eat and live in safety in your land.
6 “I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid; I will remove wild animals from the land, and the sword will not pass through your country.
7 You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the sword before you.
8 Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the sword before you.
9 “I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.
10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.
11 I will place my dwelling place[a] among you, and I will not abhor you.
12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.
13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.
